Working together for people, communities and the planet.
Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability
Better products. Responsible choices.
At M8KE, we believe the products carrying our customers’ brands should be sourced and produced with care.
Our approach to responsible sourcing considers the people who make the products, the environmental impact of the supply chain and the standards of the suppliers we choose to work with.
Our goal is simple: make responsible choices wherever practical, be transparent about what we know, and continually improve as better products, materials and sourcing options become available.
01
Ethical & Responsible Sourcing
We seek to work with reputable suppliers that demonstrate responsible business practices, including respect for human rights, fair labour conditions, workplace safety and responsible manufacturing.
We recognise the risks of modern slavery within global supply chains and support efforts to identify, manage and reduce those risks through supplier engagement and responsible procurement.
02
Environmental Responsibility
We actively look for opportunities to reduce environmental impact through better product selection, considered materials, reusable and recycled alternatives, reduced packaging and responsible production.
Rather than simply labelling products as “sustainable”, we aim to provide customers with meaningful information so they can make choices appropriate to their organisation, budget and sustainability objectives.
03
Local Partnerships & Production
Supporting Australian businesses is an important part of the M8KE philosophy.
Where practical, we prioritise established Australian suppliers and local production partners. M8KE is also investing in our own in-house branding capabilities, allowing more decoration to be completed locally while improving quality control, flexibility and turnaround times.
04
Transparency & Continuous Improvement
Responsible sourcing is an ongoing process.
We continue to review our supplier network, sourcing practices and product offering as standards, technologies and customer expectations evolve.
We encourage open communication with our suppliers and customers and welcome questions regarding product origin, materials, manufacturing and available compliance documentation.
Our Commitment to Human Rights
M8KE does not support forced labour, child labour, human trafficking or other forms of modern slavery.
We recognise that promotional products, apparel and merchandise can involve complex global supply chains. We therefore seek to work with reputable suppliers that maintain appropriate ethical sourcing, labour and social compliance practices and encourage transparency throughout their supply chains.
We support the objectives and principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2018 and are committed to continuous improvement in identifying and managing modern slavery risks within our operations and supply chain.
